At CircuIT Recruitment we like to place a big emphasis on health. With our trusty blender at hand, we blend our greens 2-3+ times a week to ensure the team is getting their nutrients and enzymes.

A Green Smoothie is made up of green leafy vegetables (with some fruits if needed) and has the power to heal, sustain you, provide nutrients, help you lose weight, reduce your cravings and give you massive amounts of energy.

Green Smoothies contain a base liquid such as water, milk, coconut water, or fruit juice. Then a greens are added such as spinach, kale, bok choy, silverbeet etc. Fruit is then added such as bananas, mangos, strawberry, pears or pineapple.

Green Smoothies are fantastic for you due to their levels of fibre, alkaline, nutrients and chlorophyll. Greens help widen our blood vessels, helping the blood flow, inhibiting the development of blockages, and destroying inflammation because they are full of a gas called nitric oxide.

Consuming Green Smoothies regularly can lead to improved health. The chlorophyll purifies the blood, prevents tooth decay, aids in proper digestion, helps detoxify the liver, keeps the thyroid gland in balance, cleanses internal organs, enhances capillary function, supports sex hormones, decontaminates inorganic chemicals, and builds up red blood cell counts.

The greens are also full of vitamins A, K, D, and E, which are all fat-soluble. Vitamin K helps calcium and phosphorus bind onto the bone protein matrix.
